Project: Zen

Welcome to the 3D project with a trite name! This scene is loosely based on Medieval Japanese architecture. One enters the scene at the base of a hilly, fenced-in piece of land. Straight ahead, one finds the Zen rock garden. Although the rock rake is by the garden, the navigator does not have the years of skillful training to be permitted to touch the delicate rock patterns. At the top of the hill, once can see the building complex that begins in the Dojo.

In between these two areas is the garden pond. Some days one can find khoi swimming about. Other days the water is quite still. The Dojo room, like the rest of the building, is raised up on supporting posts. After proceeding through the dojo, the navigator will come to a partially outdoor hallway which leads to the Gong Hut.

This hallway has its own small rock garden, and an open air wall that overlooks the pond.

The Gong Hut is there for one reason in my Japanese Scene. To rattle some heads. This gong brings those who meditate back to reality, and those who are sleeping a heart attack. I need one of these in my room. The Gong can be given a good whack by picking up the mallet, and swinging into it. In order to exit the scene, Click the middle wand button with the wand positioned inside the gong.
